In response to the spirit of the Second Vatican Council, the members of St. Luke Roman Catholic Church do hereby establish the St. Luke Parish Pastoral Council. This Parish Pastoral Council is established for the expressed purpose of:
- Encouraging the involvement of all parish members in Church life
- Representing the views of the parishioners as they are brought to the attention of the Parish Pastoral Council
- Facilitating the orderly execution of parish temporal and spiritual affairs
The Parish Pastoral Council seeks to achieve this purpose through
- Knowing and conforming to the needs of St. Luke Catholic Church
- Ensuring that all actions are aligned with the parish’s Mission Statement
- Being aware of the current social, spiritual, and sacramental needs of the people
- Developing, sharing, implementing, and monitoring a pastoral plan with goals, objectives, and actions
