We have launched our long-planned capital campaign to address our new Hall and administration wing and Basement renovations of our church. We are working with Grace Philanthropy Services, the Catholic development firm that conducted our feasibility study. The theme for our campaign is Preserving Our Past - Building Our Future. We chose that theme as it exemplifies our desire to honor our great past 100 years and build for the next 100 years. Our goal is to raise $ 4.1 million in pledges payable over the next five years. Every household and family will be asked for their support and will be invited to attend either small or large group gatherings to learn about the campaign, the work that will be accomplished through its results. You will be provided with personalized information to prayerfully consider your own best sacrifice and will be given time to ask any questions regarding our project. There will be no knocking on doors, no high pressure, and all gifts regardless of their level will be kept strictly confidential. We want to honor the sacrifice of each household and family equally. One thing we ask at this time is to wait until you have a chance to come to a gathering before you decide on a gift, we feel it is important for you to learn about our plans firsthand and have a chance to ask questions before taking our request for support to prayer. We truly need to allow the Holy Spirit to guide us through this process. Over the next several months we will be communicating with you regularly. When you are invited to attend a gathering, we hope you will do so. To reach our goal we will need your generous and sacrificial support.
