Saint Luke Catholic Church in Nicholasville has long been serving the faithful; the time has now come for our parish community to address some very needed projects. To further enhance our parish mission and support our parishioners, and based on the outcomes of the recently completed Campaign Feasibility Study, we are launching a $4.1 million dollar campaign that will begin the completion of the restoration of our church’s interior and expansion our facilities. This project will not only enhance our worship experience but also provide the space and resources we need to better serve our community. It will allow us to meet our established goals aligned with Saint Luke Church’s mission, particularly in our evangelization efforts and our commitment to supporting those in need within our community. This expansion would include essential features such as meeting space and classrooms for our youth programs and adult faith-building opportunities, a gathering hall for larger parish events, modern office spaces, updated restrooms, a new kitchen. The facilities will bring alive our mission statement. The "Preserving Our Past – Building Our Future" campaign is focused on accomplishing the tasks associated with Phase I based on our long-range plan. The Phases are summarized in this case statement. Phase I: Building our Parish Hall, adding new office spaces, restroom facilities, elevator, a modern kitchen, and renovating our basement to include much-needed classrooms and meeting spaces. Total cost of this phase is: $4.1 million Phase II: Additions to the sacristy, a new adoration chapel connected to the church and additional improvements to the interior of the church, which would include new or restored pews, painting of the interior of the church and new flooring.
