In Memory of Jerry Patrick Riley

Jerry Patrick Riley, 79, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the VA Medical Center. He was born on September 8, 1946, in Lexington to the late L.P. “Lawrence” Riley and Ann E. O’Neill. Jerry was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Riley Angel and Patricia “Patty” Riley, and two brothers, Tom Riley and W.P. “Bill” Riley. He is survived by his children, Jay Landon Riley (Amanda), Lawrenceburg, Jeri Elizabeth Riley (Morgan), Frankfort; his grandchildren, Mikayla (Alijah) Hume, Clark Riley, Piper Riley, and Bradlee Morrow; and his great-grandson, Joshua John “JJ” Hume. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, along with several great-nieces and great-nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted on December 1, 2025, at St. Leo Catholic Church, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery, where pallbearers will be Thad Holway, Bill Riley, Thomas Riley, Jr. Miracle, Jay Riley, and Lawrence Riley
